Judge: Fulton Democrats Held in Civil Contempt
Judge Emerson imposes $10,000 daily fine until Republicans are seated
Fellow Georgia Republicans,
This afternoon Fulton County Superior Court Judge David Emerson again ruled in favor of Republican representation on the Fulton Board Board of Elections. This ruling comes one week after Democrat Commissioners chose to ignore his order to seat Fulton Republican Party appointees Julie Adams and Jason Frazier.
Beginning this Friday, the Fulton County Commission must pay a daily $10,000 fine to the State of Georgia until Adams and Frazier are seated. Additionally, the Commission must pay all attorneys fees to the Republican plaintiffs.
“The court finds beyond a reasonable doubt that the Board of Commissioners has failed to comply with this court’s order… it is appropriate to hold the Board in civil contempt. The court imposes a fine of $10,000 per day…” wrote Emerson in his ruling.
His scathing reprimand continued, “… the respondent Board of Commissioners has been stubbornly litigious and acted in bad faith… The court will award the plaintiff its attorney’s fees incurred in both the bringing of this case… and for the intentional failure to comply the court’s order enforcing that law.”
Our major victory today could not have been possible without our partners — the RNC and the Fulton County Republican Party. Thank you to former RNC Chairman Michael Whatley, current RNC Chairman Joe Gruters, Fulton County Chair Stephanie Endres, and of course Julie Adams and Jason Frazier for your steadfast leadership that made this win possible.

Big, Beautiful Bill Passes Congress
Landmark legislation, spearheaded by President Trump awaits July 4th signature.
Fellow Georgia Republicans,
I am thrilled to applaud President Donald J. Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and Senate Majority Leader John Thune for their unwavering leadership and commitment to our nation with the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill. This landmark legislation embodies the values and priorities we hold dear as Republicans and represents a significant step forward for the American people.
The One Big Beautiful Bill is packed with provisions that will stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and enhance our national security. It prioritizes infrastructure investments that will revitalize our communities, supports small businesses, and provides tax relief for hardworking families. Additionally, it strengthens our borders and ensures that we prioritize the safety and security of every American.
It is deeply disappointing, however, that Democrat Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff chose not to support this vitally important bill. Their failure to stand with the needs of Georgians and Americans across the country highlights a stark contrast in priorities. While we are focused on delivering results and improving the lives of our constituents, they have opted to align themselves with the far-left agenda that undermines our progress.
I urge all Georgians to recognize the importance of this moment and to hold accountable those who fail to represent our values. Together, we will continue to advocate for policies that promote prosperity, security, and freedom for all.
